Puy du Fou

Puy du Fou is a historical theme park at Les Espesses in the Vendée region of Western France.

This magnificent theme park has performances throughout the day including the ancestral art of falconry, jousting tournaments, games of the Roman circus, the Viking attacks, musketeer combats and street theatre. The park boasts atmospheric reconstructions of a Norman fort, a medieval town and an 18th century village.

In the months of June and July you can enjoy the spectacular Cinescinie, on a stage of more than 20 hectares and 1,100 actors from the surrounding villages. With cinema quality sound and a deluge of special effects the Cinescenie is considered the best sound and light show in Europe.

Puy du Fou is just a couple of hours from Futuroscope in Poitiers, so why not extend your school trip and make it a two park trip with a full day at Futuroscope as well.
