PortaVentura theme park is found approximately an hour south of Barcelona.

The park consists of five distinct and diverse world regions to explore, Mediterrania, Far West, Mexico, China and Polynesia.  In addition to this there is also the Caribbean themed Aquatic Park.



Enter the park and take in the charm of Mediterrania, this quaint little village is full of shops and restaurants all facing the picturesque lake, but all the peace can soon turn into mayhem when the Furious Baco is realised, go from 0 to 135km/h in 3 seconds on this chaotic ride.

The biggest land in the park is The Far West with a Wild West setting you can journey through the uphills, downhills and sharp bends on the Silver River Flume or go and see the NEW – Big Small Show, where puppets perform unbelievable magic.

The land of Mexico is a tribute to the country’s ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures. One of the most thrilling attractions is the Hurakan Condor as you are launched 100 metres up and rapidly dropped down. If that sounds too terrifying settle down at the Ritmos de America and enjoy the spectacular show of exotic dances.

In the tropical paradise of Polynesia enjoy the Aves del Paraiso show as birds from around the world fill the stage, this fantastic show is sure to charm and amaze. If that isn’t enough excitement in the land of China you can visit the old alchemist’s lab at Bubblebou, enter a surprising world of bubbles, as a wonderful artist creates colourful bubbles in endless forms and shapes.
